Jung Electric Service was founded by Lucas and Justin Jung to fill an unmet demand: reputable electrical construction done right, the way it should be done. A constant, continuous slip in quality, craftsmanship and a pride in their industry convinced Lucas and Justin a change was needed, leading them to open Jung Electric Service. The bigger the shop, it seemed, the greater the volume of complaints and the less the workers cared.
Both Lucas and Justin have logged decades in the industry, managing multi-million dollar projects and making house calls for simple switch repairs. Under the tutelage of their father they learned the importance of quality and customer satisfaction. This foundation, driven by core values, is the driving force behind everything they do.
Striving to build an environment of peerless professionalism in a trade they have grown up in, the electrical contracting business, Lucas and Justin also wanted to build a team of exceptional service-oriented electricians. Electricians who care that the client is more than satisfied with the job done, bringing back the values passed onto them by their father. Out of this desire to create a different kind of electrical contracting company, Jung Electric Service was born.
Justin Jung
I was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota on Saturday, May 30th 1981. During my childhood the economy was less then stable so our family moved around the Midwest a lot. We moved from South Dakota to Colorado, Oklahoma and finally landed in Nebraska, the good life!
It’s here in Nebraska where I met my wife and discovered my passion for the Electrical field. In 1999 I started my career. I became successful early on and excelled my career very quickly. But in 2014 I decided to join my brother in starting our own company, Jung Electric Service.
Jung Electric Service encompasses everything that my brother and I stand for. We are a family owned company that cares about every aspect of the construction experience.
With my brother, our goal and mission statement is to be the premier electrical contractor, providing local presence and serving our clients with exceptional dedication.
Today I instill these same principals in my children. From hunting to wrestling and even to their studies our family works hard and strives to do our very best.
Lucas Jung
I was born in Aberdeen, South Dakota on April 23rd 1979… apparently during an episode of ‘Mash,’ my mother’s favorite show at the time. Growing up my main passions were to play soccer and to sing.
So how did I end up perusing a career in the electrical field? Its because of my father. I wanted to be just like my dad and this hasn’t changed over the years. My father is a man who is respected in every area of his life. He is a great man who is dedicated and true to his word and has an amazing passion for his family.
I followed his path and started my journey in the electrical field in 1997. After several years of working for someone else, my dream of following the values and principles instilled in me by my dad were being compromised by the bottom line. So, in 2014, my brother and I decided to start our own company. We started a company where we could build the principals and values that we found important onto our children and our employees.
Our company has values that we have set as a standard for every aspect of our lives. We believe in being loyal to our families, our friends and our customers while staying true to our word.
We believe in building trust in every aspect of our lives through honesty and integrity.
We believe in being adaptable so that we can adjust to life as it throws curve balls our way. We strive to be accommodating to make life as enjoyable as possible.
